J. Crist (James Crist) is an American recording artist originally from Northwest Indiana and now currently spends his time between Los Angeles and Chicago. His musical style is a hybrid sound with a mixture of Pop, Hip Hop, Rock, and R&B combined with powerful and dynamic vocals that immediately grab your attention with every verse, bridge, and chorus.
In 2011, J. Crist released a 7-track album titled "Grown Man Street" which was distributed independently through ten Chicagoland Best Buy locations and showcases J's true ability as a crossover artist. Since, J has gone on to release several singles, including "Feelin Fine" which debuted on Chicago's 103.5 KISS FM in early 2012.
J. Crist's latest release "Shining (Party at the Bar)" is a dance song that has gained traction in the Chicago market with a live-in-studio debut on 103.5 KISS FM, in addition to a live performance at the official KISS FM Fantabuloso after party at Enclave Nightclub. J is currently hitting up the Chicago and L.A. nightlife scene performing the new single at area clubs and events.
